"The Base collection is the core of the idea behind Made by Noemi, which is to create basic, comfortable and beautiful garments. This is where all the styles of the MbN family are presented. Over the years, I've modified the styles and adjusted the details to what you see today.

The biggest challenge with the Base collection is its plainness. The material is the most important factor that can't be compromised. It has to be perfect, so for a long time now I have focused on finding a thin cotton fabric that has the exact composition and weight that I have always wanted.

Because sometimes you have to go back to basics. Give priority to what is most important; what should always come first but rarely does. Resist the urge to constantly move ahead and instead take one step back to reflect, develop and refine. Let the most important come first - the most important as in what is closer to us, but also important as in the most basic.

For me that is what the Base collection represents most."
