The short film serial "The Weeks of Dasha" is an art / film / fashion project created by director and cinematographer Emil Klang.
The movies have an abstract and surreal tone focused on the visual art and specially on fashion.
Throughout the year 52 short films will be produced and together tell a story about the 19-year old Dasha Romanova and her first year in a new city.
Made by Noemi is (together with Chloé, Dagmar, Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair etc.) one of the brands partisipating in the project. MbN is represented in episode #8 and #40 of 52.
Emil Klang has previously made the short film "Disappearing" (with fashion from Sandra Backlund, Ida Sjöstedt, Bea Szenfeldt etc.) that was shown at Stockholm Filmfestival 2008 and on Swedish Television 2009. His short film "5 positions" (with fashion by Helena Hörstedt) released in 2007, was later presented by Diane Pernet and her fashion film festival "You wear it well" (now called "A Shaded View on Fashion Film").
Made by Noemi has for boutique Schallett at Story in Stockholm Sweden, created a special collection:
The collection “Hotel treasures” is inspired by travel and its seductive power of transformation in time and place. Swedish designer Noemi Ivanova, with roots in both Russia and Chile, has explored how travel not only offers you the possibility to explore new places, but also to play with the idea of who you wish to be there. With that in mind the designer has created gorgeous underwear, for you to explore the everyday luxury and become who you wish to be while in Stockholm.
The result is an exclusive edition of MbN underwear created around female characters from the past and presented into three series; “Miss Celia”, “Miss Antoinette” and “Miss Bonnie”.
Tucked between STORY Bar and Restaurant, the shop Schallett showcases a range of perfectly picked clothing labels from local designers in Stockholm, New York and Milan. The target is women’s pieces, but it also serves up an eclectic mix of unisex accessories and jewellery from quirky small labels. Since the store is literally places in the Bar at STORY, you can enjoy an espresso or your favorite Martini while shopping tonight’s outfit.
The short film and photo series "My Beloved, Karin" is filmed by David Rainer with photos by Linda Alfvegren.
Inspired by the saga with the same title by Astrid Lindgren:
"Barbro has a secret sister, a twin sister whos name is Ylva-Li. She lives under a rose bush, but not any rose bush - it is Salikos roses. When Barbro feels lonely and left out by the family she escapes down the hole under the bush. This day the sisters are going away on a journey. A long journey to the most beautiful valley in the world."
Beautifully filmed with lovely colors and mood. The short film captures the melancholy and love between the two sisters to tender song by Jennie Abrahamsson.
